New to Leeds 2017: A-Z guide

Merry Christmas!

You might have noticed, Leeds has been a bit busy in 2017. And we don’t know about you, but we’ve found it hard to keep up with all the new places and spaces that have opened in the city centre this year.

From fancy restaurants and bars, to shops, hotels, events and just general ‘stuff’ happening in our amazing city, we’ve come up with a handy A-Z guide to the new additions that have made Leeds such a great place to be in 2017.

They are specific to this year only, and mainly in or around the city centre – otherwise this would be a really, really long list. We’ll probably, definitely have missed some – so let us know!

Check out our list for P &Q below!

Pizza Fella

The street food favourite has set down roots with a permanent pizzeria on Vicar Lane, and the people queuing out the door for its authentic Naples pizzas prove it was a good decision.

The original escape game landed on Vicar Lane in Leeds earlier this year, tempting work mates, families, hen and stag parties to escape a room within an hour by solving a series of puzzles, clues and mysteries. A great night-out alternative.

Tell me what you want, what you really, really want, Leeds. A club dedicated to 90’s pop? You got it. Just head down to Millennium Square.

Queens Arcade

This collection of Victorian passageways dotted with one-off boutiques isn’t letting Victoria Gate steal all the glory. Newest on the block is Olive & Rye, a deli store-cum-café and restaurant that all the foodies are talking about.

Our A-Z guide is nearly finished, check out R & S tomorrow!
